<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized storage case exclusive for a folding type cellular phone, excellent in the handlability, allowing a user to easily store the folding type cellular phone by partly inserting the cellular phone into the case and to easily take out and unfold the cellular phone with a reduced number of processes to use the cellular phone. <P>SOLUTION: The storage case 10 is formed by connecting a back plate 11 and a front cover 12 in the shape of a bottomed and lid-less cylinder except for a part to be an insertion opening 13. A sponge body 16 is attached to the inner surface of the back plate 11, and the space between the back plate 11 and the front cover 12 is such that a first body part 1a can be closely inserted into the insertion opening 13 while the first body part 1a is compressing the sponge body 16 when the cellular phone 1 is unfolded.
