PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic regulator of a core chuck lower limit stopper to regulate the height of the stopper so as to automatically regulate the height of a core chuck when the diameter of a core is set in setting cores of different diameters in a winder device to slit an extensive master winding roll which is continuously manufactured by a paper machine and wound to a predetermined diameter to a predetermined width to manufacture a shipping roll. SOLUTION: A worm jack is fixed on a frame located below a core chuck of a winder device to manufacture a shipping roll by slitting an extensive master winding roll which is continuously manufactured by a paper machine and wound to a predetermined diameter to a predetermined width, and a receiving seat to receive the core chuck is provided on an upper end of a worm wheel shaft of the worm jack. A pulse transmitter is provided on a drive motor connected to a worm of the worm jack. An origin detecting proximity switch, a lower limit detecting proximity switch and an upper limit detecting proximity switch to detect the position of the receiving seat are added thereto.
