PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film with a minute pore excellent in the balance of heat compression resistance, permeability, mechanical characteristics and thermal shrinkage, and its manufacturing method and use. SOLUTION: This film with a minute pore contains a polyethylene (a) and a non-polyethylene thermoplastic resin (b) having a melting point or a glass transition temperature of 170-300°C and not being completely dissolved but minutely dispersed when melt-kneaded with the polyethylene or a solvent of the polyethylene, and has an increase in gas permeability of not higher than 500 sec/100 cc after heat compression under a pressure of 5 MPa and at 90°C for 5 minutes.
