SUBSTANCE: casting roll of plant for casting thin strip includes practically cylindrical arbor 1, sleeve 2 of copper or copper alloy having if necessary at least one outer layer 5, inner system 4 for cooling and adjusting attachment for setting contour of casting roll at its end portions 7. Adjusting attachment for each end portion of casting roll has supporting disc 17 engaging with ring 8 that embraces supporting disc 17 in radial direction and adjoins inside to envelope near its end zones. Lengthwise position of ring 8 relative to arbor 1 is rigidly fixed. Disc 17 may perform lengthwise motion relative to casting roll. EFFECT: possibility for compensating distortion of casting roll contour due to heat action with use of relatively simple means. 9 cl, 1 dwg |
