摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled aluminum alloy material excellent in cuttability and capable of suppressing the shortening of life of a cutting tool and a method for producing the material. SOLUTION: The rolled aluminum alloy comprises 2-7 mass% Si, 0.1-8 mass% Cu, 0.001-5 mass% Mg, 0.001-0.5 mass% Cr, 0.005-0.03 mass% Ti, 0.001-0.006 mass% B, 0.005-0.3 mass% at least one element selected from among Sr, Sb, Ca, Na, and P, and the balance being aluminum and unavoidable impurities. The average size of Si-containing particles present in the alloy is 5μm or lower, and the maximum size is 10μm or lower. The crystal structure of the alloy is a hot rolling structure or a mixed structure of a hot rolling structure with a recrystallization structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
