摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved device for connecting a high voltage (HV) electric cable to an X-ray tube. SOLUTION: The HV connector for large current X-ray tube device (10) comprises a thermally conductive epoxy (70) which contains a filling object and can be filled up with a gravel of the same material, a cable terminal, a Faraday cup (74), a spring biased contact, and a housing (78) that has backing plated by lead. In order to bring about the electric field release, the Faraday cup (74) is arranged in the central section. To facilitate the alignment of the pin and obtain rigidity for handling, the spring biased contact is contained. By selecting the thermal conductivity of the gasket (15) and the epoxy (70) appropriately, a solution for effective heat management is achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
