PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an X-ray image with superior resolution by moving two focusing grids in mutually different directions and removing scattered radiation. SOLUTION: The grid 1 in Figure (a) is a focus grid mutually forming a laminated structure of a radiation transmission member and a radiation shielding member diagonally in the 45°direction and since the grid 1 has the laminated structure, a focus F1 is linearly distributed. Similarly, the grid 2 in (b) has a similar laminated structure formed inverse-diagonally thereto in the 45°direction and F2 is its focus. When the grids 1 and 2 are stacked in a manner shown in (c), a grid-shape cross grid 3 is synthesized and F3 is the focus of the synthesized cross grid 3. When the grids 1 and 2 are moved laterally in the mutually inverse directions, the focus F3 vertically moves relatively to their left/right movements. When imaging by putting the focus of an X-ray tube on the focus track moving vertically, this method can eliminate cutoff by the grids 1 and 2 to obtain an image with the images of the grids 1 and 2 erased.
