The clamp has two identical clamping brackets that are rounded on all sides, that enclose the tube in a flexurally stiff manner on the one hand and that use an inserted slide nut as a counter bearing for flexurally stiff connection of the stand on the other hand. No mechanical processing of the brackets is used as a result of using hexagonal recesses for the clamping bolts. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a clamp for a foot bar (b) and an adjustable clamp for a foot bar.
