摘要 PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a front electrode are provided to simultaneously satisfy the minimum aperture ratio required for luminance and minimum electrode line width required for stability of discharge. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a front electrode including an X-sustain electrode(420) and a Y-sustain electrode(430) made of an opaque metal, wherein the front electrode is extended in one direction in a front panel; and an address electrode(440) extended in the direction vertically crossing the X-sustain electrode and the Y-sustain electrode in a rear panel. The X-sustain electrode and Y-sustain electrode include terminal electrode units(420a,430a), main electrode units(420b,430b), and branch electrodes(420c,430c), respectively, and have trapezoidal shapes. The terminal electrode units and the branch electrode units of the X-sustain electrode and the Y-sustain electrode are formed into the substantially same line width. The main electrode units of the X-sustain electrode and the Y-sustain electrode are formed into different line widths.
