PURPOSE: A method for controlling the memory area access is provided to prevent the malfunction of hardware, and know an instruction and a time point of the abnormal operation for debugging by performing reset as detecting that an unused memory area on a program is accessed by a bug in the hardware or an error on the program. CONSTITUTION: At the system initialization, an address of the unused memory area is stored in a register(201). When the memory is accessed, the address of a memory is compared with the address stored in the register(203). If the accessed address is judged as the address of the unused memory area, the reset is internally performed through an interrupt(206).
