<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which air bubbles are prevented from being accumulated inside a light shielding film, and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: An inclined plane 3 is formed as an air vent part on the light shielding film 2 to be formed on a cover glass plate 1. A two liquid type silicone resin 14 as an adhesive resin is dropped on respective surfaces of a counter glass plate 11 and a TFT substrate 12 of the liquid crystal display panel 10. The cover glass plate 1 on which the light shielding film 2 is formed is stuck thereto and is subjected to heat and pressure application in an autoclave (AC). Air bubbles 4 are guided to the outside of the light shielding film 2 with the inclined plane 3 formed on the light shielding film 2 and discharged to the outside from the two liquid type silicone resin 14. The two liquid type silicone resin 14 is hardened in a state that the inner air bubbles 4 are discharged to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
