<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reserve conferences held on the same date and time as many as possible by efficiently materialize conference resource management in a video conference system. <P>SOLUTION: A conference reservation acceptance section 22 receives conference reservation information including the date and time for holding the conferences, the number of involved conference client terminal apparatuses 8 and information on a service zone per terminal apparatus from the terminal apparatuses 8, and determines whether or not reservation acceptance is possible based on the total value of the service zones on the date and time for holding the conferences and the information on the conference reservation. A conference parameter control section 15 decides information on a conference parameter restricting the service zone of the terminal apparatus 8 involved in the conference based on the information on the conference reservation. The conference resource control section 88 of the terminal apparatus 8 conducts control so that the service zone of the self-apparatus may be placed in a zone specified by the information on the conference parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
