<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate to control a trapping processing of an image containing a plurality of objects. <P>SOLUTION: An object of attention is determined among images (S1101), and it is judged whether there exists another object intersecting the object of attention (S1102). If there exists such one, it is made as an objective object and a point of intersection is calculated (S1104). In a table for the point of intersection, such attributes as the number of the point of intersection, discrimination of knock out and trapping, and difference between starting and finishing are registered (S1106). This procedure is also performed on the objective object (S1107), and if there exists any other table for the point of intersection on the object of attention and the objective object, they are synthesized (S1109). A position of intersection, a form of intersection and the like between the objects can be specified by this table for the point of intersection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
