<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coat PC steel strand having high an adhesive property to concrete or grout and reducing friction with a plastic or metal sheath. <P>SOLUTION: The coat PC steel strand includes a PC steel strand 20, a thermosetting resin (epoxy resin 21) coating layer formed on the surface thereof, and granular bodies 22 embedded so as to partially project from the coating layer. A friction coefficientλbetween the coat PC steel strand and the plastic sheath or the metal sheath isλ≤0.004. Bond strength between the coat PC steel strand and the grout is not less than 90% of bond strength between a bare PC steel strand and the grout.
