PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for ultraviolet radiation equipped with two or more lamps that can enhance a performance for ultraviolet radiation. SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 7 of the apparatus incorporating two or more lamps 3 for radiating ultraviolet light comprises a heat transfer medium chamber 9 to hold a heat transfer medium partitioned from the other space 51 in this cylindrical body 7 and two or more heat transfer sleeves 45 made of a heat conductive material installed in the heat transfer medium chamber 9 into which ferrule 13 ends of the lamps 3 can be inserted. The space in the heat transfer sleeves 45 is partitioned from the space in the heat transfer medium chamber 9, which has a structure to enclose at least the coldest portion of the lamps 3 with the heat transfer sleeves 45. Therefore, the performance for ultraviolet radiation of the apparatus for ultraviolet radiation equipped with two or more lamps can be enhanced because stem parts 11 including the above coldest portion can be kept at around an optimum temperature without using conventional heat transfer blocks.
