<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of securing the reliability of color slurring correction by performing the appropriate color slurring correction even when the starting operation of the image forming apparatus is interrupted. <P>SOLUTION: When a cover is opened in the midst of processing from a step S4 to a step S11, an opening signal is outputted to a control part 32 from an opening/closing sensor 38, and warm-up operation is interrupted by a warm-up control part 326 by receiving the signal. Thereafter, when the cover is closed again and a closing signal is outputted to the control part from the opening/closing sensor, the processing is restored to the step S3. When detected temperature by a temperature sensor 36 is equal to or under a specified reference value (YES in the step S3), the warm-up operation is started by the control part 326 (step S4) and also processing for the color slurring correction is performed again by a color slurring correction control part 327. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
