<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably casting a thermoplastic resin sheet at a high speed and high efficiency by detecting a cavity defect. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin sheet including a casting step is to closely attach a molten thermoplastic resin sheet to the surface of a cooling drum through an interposed water liquid film and harden the resin while applying static electricity to the molten sheet.
