<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the attaching/detaching operation of a memory card with simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: This magnetic card reader where an upper case 3 is pivotally supported so as to be freely opened and closed at the back part of a lower case 2 is incorporated with a carrying mechanism for carrying a magnetic card into the lower case and the upper case and a recording/reproducing mechanism for recording magnetic data in the magnetic card, and for reading the recorded magnetic data. A card slot 22 of the memory card 23 is mounted on a proper part in the lower case so that the memory card can be attached and detached according as the upper case is opened and closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
