PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electronic oven properly performable heat cooking. SOLUTION: This microwave oven has an infrared sensor 7 fixed on bottom surface of a detection path member 40 connected to a body frame 5 for forming a heating chamber 10 inside. The infrared sensor 7 senses infrared inside the heating chamber 10 through a detection window formed on the detection path member 40. The infrared sensor 7 includes a plurality of infrared detection elements. The infrared sensor 7 is positioned in the foremost region when the body frame 5 is longitudinally divided into four parts (for every size of L) (and the side where a door 3 is provided is considered to be the fore side).
