The hydraulic jack comprises a drive carriage (4), which receives one end of a chain or cable (9). The cable or chain is coupled to a pulley or sprocket (10) in order to access opposite side of a support structure (3), which defines downward movement. The cable or chain is fixed by its respective end to the support structure, where the pulley or sprocket is mounted with freedom of rotation on upper end of a hydraulic cylinder rod (2) in order to double displacement amplitude of ascending or descending of the drive carriage.
