Class 112 A bobbin-winding attachment for a sewing machine comprises a base 14, a frame 23 pivoted at 20 to the base, a bobbincarrying shaft 25 journalled in the frame and provided with a belt-engaging wheel 29, a pair of toggle links 33, 34 pivoted together at 35, link 33 being pivoted at 32 to the frame and link 34 being pivoted at 36 to an anchor link 37, and the latter being fixable in adjusted angular position to the base by means of a clamping screw 39, whereby the position of wheel 29 may be adjusted relatively to the driving belt 30. A stop member 41 on link 34 engages link 33, and the latter carries a thread-engaging trip-member 45. A tongue 15 on the base enters a groove 13 in a boss 12 on the machine casing 11, and the base is fixed in adjusted position transversely of the belt by screws 17. |
