The invention concerns a device for upgrading organic matter into compost or more precisely into earthworm compost. Said vermicomposting method is characterized as compared to conventional composting in that the organic matter can be composted much faster and all year round. The invention provides the additional advantage of upgrading organic matter with a reduced relative volume and less maintenance, for a high-quality final product. Said apparatus enables elimination of leachate production. Said product is of interest to individuals, local authorities, various organisms, agri-food industry and others. |
