PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform guiding suited to the request of a user by displaying map information of different dimensions. SOLUTION: A position attribute judging means 14 judges position attribute information corresponding to a position indicated by an input means 13 and its attribute. In the case that two or more kinds of the map information are acquired from a map information recording medium 11 by a map information acquiring means 12, a data-for-display editing means 16 edits data for display in the two or more kinds of the acquired map information on the basis of a display order decided by a display order deciding means 15 and displays them at a display means 17.
