PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plurality of imaging apparatuses using different wireless communication systems to upload image data. SOLUTION: A communication control section 105 of the relay unit 100 confirms the wireless communication system of a digital camera 1 that transmitted image data, selects a communication section corresponding to the communication system of the digital camera 1 from a first communication section 110, and allows the selected communication section to communicate with the digital camera 1.
