摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance uniformity of light intensity in the longitudinal direction of a line light source of reading light which is condensed in straight line shape in the exposing device for reading a picture recording medium. SOLUTION: Luminescence images of LEDs are restricted by apertures 102a of a slit 102 and angles of divergence in the Z direction of light outputted from a line light source 101 consisting of respective LED chips 101a,101b... are restricted by pin holes 103a,103b... of a pin hole array 103 and the light are condensed in Y directed with cylindrical lenses 104,105 to irradiate on an electrostatic recording medium 10 in the straight line shape. Since the angle of divergence in the Z direction is narrowed, an irradiation extent by light emitted from one LED chip becomes the extent of one-several-th to one-several tenths the extent of the conventional device. For this reason, the same light intensity as that in the central part of the electrostatic recording medium 10 is obtained even at an irradiation point near the end part of the recording medium 10.
