PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new solvent composition having a strong dissolving power and a wide application. SOLUTION: This solvent composition contains 1,1-dichloro-2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane (R225ca) and/or 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane (R225cb) and 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl-2,2,2 trifluoroethyl ether (HFE347).
