PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately set the operation conditions in a packing stage and a dwelling stage with good workability in an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: In the injection molding machine, an injection waveform, which shows the relation of time-to-screw position in the packing stage and the dwelling stage, is displayed on the display screen of an operation panel for operating the injection molding machine and input items for setting the screw advance speed and screw back pressure in the packing stage and the dwelling stage are displayed on the same display screen at the same time. The operator of the injection molding machine can alter the setting of the respective input items while confirming the actual data of the injection waveform on the display screen. Further, these input items are, for example, a packing speed, packing pressure, a dwelling changeover time, a dwelling speed and an injection timer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
