PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic imaging apparatus capable of reducing the radiation impinging on a subject in the phase contrast magnification radiography, and obtaining an image of a breast without generating an image defect. SOLUTION: The radiographic imaging apparatus comprises a small focus radiation source 11 for applying radiation to the subject 15, a subject holding member 18 for holding the subject 15, and a radiographic image detector 50 for reading the radiographic image information based on the radiation penetrating the subject 15 for executing the phase contrast mammography of the breast of the subject held by the subject holding member 18. In the apparatus, an end surface 50a of the radiographic image detector 50 is located in a straight line L1 connecting the focal point 11a of the small focus radiation source 11 and a chest wall surface 15a of the subject on the subject holding member 18.
