HEAT RESERVOIR AND HEAT STORAGE MATERIAL, AND HEATING OR COOLING METHOD USING THE HEAT STORAGE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat reservoir which is suitable for storing heat or cold heat and has excellent mechanical strengths and abrasion resistance, to provide a heat storage material comprising the heat reservoir and a dispersing medium, to provide a heating method comprising using energy stored in the heat reservoir in the heat storage material to heat a loading fluid, and to provide a cooling method comprising using cold energy stored in the heat reservoir in the heat storage material to cool a loading fluid.

SOLUTION: This heat reservoir prepared by coating porous resin spheres containing a heat-storing component changing its phase in response to temperature with a resin. The heat storage material comprises the heat reservoir and a dispersing medium. The heating method is characterized by storing heat in the heat storage material and then heating a loading fluid with the stored energy. The cooling method is characterized by storing cold heat in the heat storage material and then cooling a loading fluid with the stored cold energy.
