<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide software radio equipment which realizes understandable operations about the control of a communication function. <P>SOLUTION: This software radio equipment executes processing on the basis of software information, and stores the software information 19a, 19b and so on in a non-volatile storage 19. A display controller 26 discriminates between the communication functions of the software information stored in the storage 19, and displays a function menu showing executable functions on a display unit 18 on the basis of a result of the discrimination. When an instruction for selecting a specific function from the function menu displayed on the display 26 is input from an operation manager 24, a corresponding communication function 21 is executed.
