PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for download without decreasing user capacitance of an entire system and to switch a communication system in a short time as a result. SOLUTION: A digital signal processing part 103 is provided with a reconfigurable device 131, and the reconfigurable device 131 constructs a decoding part 133 and an encoding part 134 with programming data. The decoding part 133 demodulates and decodes a signal synchronously with a signal outputted from a receiving part 121. A CPU 105 downloads programming data of the other radio communication system and stores the data in a storage part 106 via a general bus 104. Further, the CPU 105 reads the stored programming data and reconstructs the reconfigurable device 131. The storage part 106 stores the programming data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
