PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length-adjustable stick with a shock absorbing function that maintains fixation retaining capability and can be compactly housed by improving a length adjustment fixation means and limiting a position for mounting the length adjustment fixation means with the shock absorbing function. SOLUTION: The length-adjustable stick has a stick main body comprising at least three pipes of an upper pipe, a middle pipe 12 and a lower pipe 11 and adjusts the length thereof by slidably fitting the pipes, wherein the length adjustment fixation means with the shock absorbing function is provided on only an upper end of the lower pipe 11.
