the continuous carton packing machine has a locally fixed shelf (1) with at least two opposing shelf faces (1.1, 1.2) set above a feeder container (3) at the rear end of which is an entrainment device (2) which projects over the locally fixed shelf laden with goods and passes contact-free between the shelf faces. A further shelf device (4) consisting of two opposing shelf faces adjoins the locally fixed shelf in the conveyor direction so that the goods can be moved from the locally fixed shelf by the entrainment device onto the second shelf device and then transferred through an opening mechanism (11) to the feeder container (3).
