PURPOSE: A gas range hood for an air cleaning kitchen is provided to prevent smell and hot air generated in cooking foods from being dispersed to users and the interior room and to quickly convect the air of the kitchen and keep the kitchen clean and pleasant by injecting the clean air to the upward inclined direction and horizontal direction and front and both side vertical directions through a clean air injection damper. CONSTITUTION: A polluted air inlet chamber(20) embedding an exhaust fan(34) is installed to the front upside of a wall(11). A gas range(4) is placed on a drawer(30). Smell and hot air generated from the gas range is discharged to the outdoor through the polluted air inflow chamber in which the exhaust fan is operated. An air supply passage(12-1) for flowing upward the clean air and an exhaust passage(12-2) for flowing downward the polluted air are divided in the wall. A clean air injection damper(13) and a polluted air inlet chamber(20) communicating with the air supply and exhaust passages, respectively, are arranged at the upside of the wall. A clean air discharge port for injecting the clean air upward, horizontally, and vertically is formed at the clean air injection damper. A polluted air intake port for sucking in the polluted room air is disposed in the front side of a polluted air inlet frame(21) forming the polluted air inlet chamber. Intake and exhaust chambers(31,32) communicating with the air supply and exhaust passages, respectively, are divided in the drawer. A room air intake port(35) for sucking in the polluted room air is formed in the front side of the intake chamber and an air supply fan(33) for forcibly sucking in the polluted air is installed in the intake chamber. The exhaust fan for discharging the polluted air to the outside is installed in the exhaust chamber.
