STRIP HOLDING APPARATUS OF LOOP FACILITY

PURPOSE: A strip holding apparatus of loop facility is provided which is capable of smoothly restoring fractured strip to normal conditions by preventing dropping of the strip by immediately holding a strip flown down by dead load when the strip is fractured in the loop facility. CONSTITUTION: The strip holding apparatus of loop facility comprises a sliding base vertically installed; a lower fixed carriage fixed to a lower part of the sliding base; a plurality of lower rolls arranged along the lower fixed carriage with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance; a moving carriage(130) ascended and descended along the sliding base; a plurality of upper rolls arranged on the moving carriage with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance; a clamping roll(11) which is positioned at the inner side of strip with being installed at a vertical bracket(10) installed perpendicularly to a lower part of the moving carriage, and to which power supply is impressed during generation of strip fracture signals so that the clamping roll has magnetism of N pole or S pole; a supporting member(12) rotationally installed at the vertical bracket and extended to the outer side of the strip; and a holding roll(13) which is positioned at the outer side of the strip with being installed at the front end of the supporting member so that the holding roll has magnetism opposite to that of the clamping roll, and which is descended by dead load to closely adhere the strip to the clamping roll.
