PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a carrying part on the downstream side of a fixation part from becoming hot by vertically holding the hot sheet material passing through the fixation part of an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine/printer, etc., between rollers formed of materials such as aluminum having high thermal conductivity in the paper feeding part of a sorter finisher. SOLUTION: The hot sheet material carried from the fixation part is cooled while carrying the hot sheet material by the carrying rollers with a cooling member separately arranged inside. By constituting the cooling roller 100 of a pair of two rollers, the sheet material is prevented from curling, and jamming is also prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
