PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security against a person who assumes an air of a user or a server, when personal confirmation is performed by using electronic certificate. SOLUTION: An MAC address of a client 101 is included as one of user informations, in electronic certificate (step S2-S5). Before performing packet communication between the client 101 and a server 102, when electronic certificate is transmitted from the client 101 to the server 102 (step S7), the MAC address is verified, by comparing a transmission source MAC address included in a header of a transmitting packet with the MAC address, included in the electronic certificate (step S9).
