<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car position detecting device of an elevator whereby an arrangement space can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: Attachment bars 2a to 2d and 3a to 3d are arranged along a lifting direction of a car 4 near an upper terminal floor and a lower terminal floor of a hoistway 1. Plates 5a to 12a are respectively attached on the respective attachment bars in different arrangement patterns. A detector 26 having four detecting sensor parts 14 to 17 for detecting existence or non-existence of the respective plates is mounted on the car 4. The respective detecting sensor parts 14 to 17 are equipped with a first sensor and a second sensor for outputting different signals by detection of existence or non-existence of the plates. The detector 26 detects existence or nonexistence of the respective plates, and the arrangement patterns of the plates are detected, and thereby the position of the car is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
