MESSENGER WIRE JUMPING PREVENTING DEVICE FOR TRAVERSE CURRENT COLLECTOR OF CONTAINER CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a messenger wire in a traverse current collector jumps and is hooked to a member at a rail side or a member at a carrier side when a trolley moves close to the tip of a boom in a container crane that moves the trolley speedily. SOLUTION: The traverse current collector of the container crane comprises a cabtyre cable for collecting power in a trolley traversely traveling along the girder and boom; and the messenger wire for traversely moving the cabtyre cable via a plurality of carriers that can travel along the girder and boom. The messenger wire has a plurality of messenger wires between carriers for connecting the adjacent carriers. Between the adjacent carriers, a middle section in the longitudinal direction of the messenger wire between carriers is composed with a flexible tension member for connecting to the middle section in the longitudinal direction of the cabtyre cable with specific distance as a main body.
