<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character processor capable of high speed printing by introducing jaggy correction processing to an image processing system possibly handling rasterized character image data depending on conditions on both the host unit side and the image output unit side, and registering the character image data subjected to jaggy correction in a cache thereby reducing the processing time, and to provide a character processing method, and a computer readable storage medium storing a program for performing that method. <P>SOLUTION: The character processor comprises a section performing jaggy correction on character image data, and a section for controlling the jaggy correcting section by determining whether jaggy correction is performed or not depending on analytic results of a print command. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
