PURPOSE: Brake shoe assembling structure for noise reduction is provided to remarkably reduce a brake noise in braking by combining a brake lining to a brake shoe and adhering a damping shim to the brake shoe with a bonding agent. CONSTITUTION: In brake shoe assembling structure for noise reduction, a brake lining(2) is adhered to a brake shoe(1). A damping shim(4) adhered to the brake shoe by an adhering layer comprises a first layer member made of rubber, a second layer member made of a steel sheet, and a third layer member made of rubber. The damping shim is interposed between the brake shoe and the brake lining and is adhered. The first layer member executes a buffering function between the brake shoe and the damping shim. The thickness of the first layer member is 0.1¯0.3 mm. The second layer member maintains the self-shape of the damping shim. The thickness of the second layer member is 0.4¯0.8 mm. The third layer member executes a buffering function of the brake lining and the damping shim. The thickness of the third layer member is the same as the thickness of the first layer member.
