<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint, which simply conducts the connecting works of a drain horizontal-drawing pipe and a drain riser connected to a sanitary fixture such as a toilet, a sink, a bathtub or the like and in which dirt or the like flowing in a pipe is not deposited and can be discharged smoothly after a piping connection, in a high-rise multiple dwelling house such as an apartment, a mansion or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint is composed of a joint section 31, to which the end section of the drain horizontal-pipe 1 is inserted and connected, and a saddle section 32 connected to the external surface of the pipe wall of the drain riser 2, and a socket 311 having an inside diameter slightly larger than the outside diameter of the pipe 1 is formed to the joint section 31 while a rubber ring 34 is mounted on an internal surface on the front end side of the socket 311. A connecting section 313 having the inside diameter approximately the same as that of the pipe 1 is formed on the interior side of the socket 311 through a different diameter section 312, and the socket 311, the different diameter section 312 and the inner-peripheral underside of the connecting section 313 are connected under the state in which they are made flush one another. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
