摘要 The motor vehicle has a drive engine, a frictional clutch and a hydrostatic wheel drive. The method involves controlling the wheel torque at the wheel drive from a gearbox controller. The controller slowly increases the torque and hence causes the vehicle to creep if it is detected that a starting gear is selected, the clutch is disengaged, the brake system is not being operated and the gas pedal is not being operated. The motor vehicle has a drive engine (2), a frictional clutch (4) between the engine and a gear shift gearbox (6) and a hydrostatic wheel drive (32,38). The method involves controlling the wheel torque at the wheel drive from a gearbox controller (52). The controller slowly increases the torque and hence causes the vehicle to creep if it is detected that a starting gear is selected, the clutch is disengaged, the working brakes (56) are not being operated and the gas pedal (60) is not being operated. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a hydrostatic wheel drive.
