PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem printing system which enables setting on an image output device side as to whether the tandem printing of image data sent from the image output device to a personal computer is be carried out immediately or later through the operations on a personal computer by a user. SOLUTION: The image output device, equipped with an image read means, is equipped with a transmission destination selecting means which enables the user to select a personal computer as the transmission destination of image data out of personal computers connected to a network line, when a tandem printing mode is set and a job-setting means, which allows the user to set a plurality of output devices to perform the tandem printing out of image output devices connected to the network line; and whether or not the tandem printing is to be carried out immediately, when the tandem printing mode is set. |
