RECORD MEDIA HAVING DATA STRUCTURE FOR MANAGING REGENERATION OF VIDEO DATA

PURPOSE: A record media having a video data management data structure is provided to manage a regeneration of video data based on a title, a chapter or a multiple reproduction path. CONSTITUTION: The media comprises a general data file area, and a regeneration list directory area. The general data file area includes at least one generation list identifier and title management data. The generation list identifier identifies a generation list file which forms a title of video data stored at the record media. The title management data manages the regeneration of the video data by the unit of the title. The regeneration list directory area stores at least one regeneration list directory. Each regeneration list directory includes at least one regeneration file identified by a regeneration list identifier within the general data file. Each regeneration list file identifies at least one regeneration item, and each regeneration item identifies a video data clip.
