PURPOSE: A locking nut assembly is provided to prevent a nut from being released from the locking nut assembly by directly fixing the nut to a shaft by means of a lock pin. CONSTITUTION: A locking nut assembly includes a shaft(10), a nut(12) and a lock pin(14). The shaft(10) is formed at an outer peripheral portion thereof with a screw section(10a). A hole(10b) is formed in the screw section(10a). The nut(12) is screw-coupled with the shaft(10) and formed at an outer portion thereof with a hole(12a) corresponding to the hole(10b) of the shaft(10). The lock pin(14) is inserted into the hole(10b) of the shaft(10) and the hole(12a) of the nut(12) such that the nut(12) is prevented from being released from the shaft(10). The shaft(10) is rotated at a high speed by means of a motor or an engine.
