<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance and high-quality photoelectric converter by means of performing electrical connection certainly between a spherical photoelectric converter and an electrical conductor layer, and further securing the photoelectric converter surely to a predetermined position within a recess portion of a supporting body through a simplified process and excellent workability. <P>SOLUTION: In the photoelectric converter fabricating process, a first electrode is formed in the exposed portion of a first semiconductor within the opening of a second semiconductor layer on the surface of the spherical photoelectric converter, and a second electrode is formed in the periphery of the second semiconductor, respectively. These electrodes are arranged in the predetermined position of the recess portion of the supporting body composed of an electrical insulating body layer and the second electrical conductor layer. The first electrode and a first electrical conductor layer are soldered with a first solder, and then the second electrode is coupled to the second electrical conductor layer of the supporting body by using a second solder with a lower liquids-line temperature than a solidus-line temperature of the first spherical solder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
