<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp reflector which retains the properties of a BMC (bulk molding compound) molding and has reduced weight by adding hollow glass bodies into a BMC material. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp reflector has, as a substrate, a BMC molding formed by adding at least glass fibers which are a reinforcing material as an inorganic filler to a matrix resin based on an unsaturated polyester resin, kneading those and injection-molding the resulting BMC material. Hollow glass bodies having an average particle diameter of 15 to 45μm are added as an inorganic filler into the BMC material. The volume ratio of the hollow glass bodies to the BMC material is adjusted to 10 to 40 vol.%, and the volume ratio of the inorganic fillers to the matrix resin is adjusted to 1.0 to 2.5 to ensure dimensional stability, heat resistance, stiffness and weight reduction of the BMC molding 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
