PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which has a plurality of imaging units mounted thereon and can control operations of each imaging unit through a simple operation. SOLUTION: A hinge 24 connects two cases in an opening / closing enabled way, and the mobile terminal is configured such that the first case 17 is turnable in a direction orthogonal to the opening / closing direction with respect to the second case 10. The mobile terminal is provided with: a camera 20 placed on either of sides of the first case 17 orthogonal to the opening / closing direction; a camera 21 located on an exposed side opposite to the side with the camera 20 placed thereon in the two cases in a state that the two cases are opened at an opening angle of about 90 degrees between the two cases and the first case 17 is turned at about an opening angle of 90 degrees with respect to the second case 10; and a sensor unit 27 for discriminating the positional relation of the two cases in response to a change in the opening angle between the two cases. Further, when the sensor unit 27 discriminates that the two cases change their opening angle in a closing direction while the two cases are opened and the camera 20 is in operation, the operation of the camera 20 is stopped.
