The invention relates to a method for extruding peroxidically cross-linked molded plastic parts, preferably tubes, in which the cross-linkable plastic is heated in an extruder and is continuously fed to an extrusion tool (15) in order to create the molded part while the plastic is at least partly cross-linked in the extrusion tool (15) by heating the plastic above a cross-linking temperature. In order to improve such a method, the temperature of the unmolten plastic that is guided within the extruder (2) is increased to a value lying above the crystallite melting range of the plastic but below the cross-linking temperature while the temperature is increased above the cross-linking temperature only once the plastic has entered the extrusion tool (15).
